Regular Group Visits

Discovery Centre welcomes group visits and offers discounts to groups booked in advance with 10 or more people. To book a group, call (902) 492-4422 ext. 236.

Note: We recommend a ratio of 1 chaperone to 5 children. These chaperones will be admitted free of charge. Groups will be charged the adult group rate for extra chaperones.

Exhibit visits are self guided tours. There are exhibit interpreters who are on the floor to help answer questions and make sure your visit runs smoothly.

Digital Planetarium Nights

Special Programming for Scouts and Guides

Digital Planetarium Nights are a chance for your groups to visit the coolest place to play and earn their Astronomy badges! This three-tiered evening includes a presentation in our Digital Planetarium, a planet workshop discussing the Canadian Space Agency and time to explore all of the exhibits at Discovery Centre. Groups will learn how to identify constellations in the night sky, how to spot the north star from wherever they are, and how the constellations tell mythological stories. (The Digital Planetarium presentation and workshop are based on badge requirements.) To book, call 492-4422 ext. 223.
