Royal Bank of Canada

RBC announced Discovery Centre as one of its 2009 RBC Blue Water Project Leadership Grant recipients. This gift allows Discovery Centre to create a new exhibit, "Water and our World". The exhibit will teach visitors about Atlantic Canda's water resources. An external program has also been created, which is tailored to Junior High audiences. It increases student awareness of environmental and scientific issues. The exhibit is also supported by Halifax Water.

EnCana Corporation

Is the presenting sponsor of "Science on the Road". This program brings the fun and excitement of Discovery Centre to schools accross the province. The program would not be possible without our other supporters; NSERC, BellAliant & Imperial Oil Foundation.

Canadian Space Agency & CIBC

Come and see the stars! Or, we can come to you! The Digital Planetarium allows visitors to have a 25 minute show of the stars. Identify constellations in the night sky, spot the North Star and learn how constellations tell mythological stories!

Halifax Harbour Bridges

The popular Suspension Bridge received a makeover thanks to the generous support of Halifax Harbour Bridges, a brand new supported of the Discovery Centre! The exhibits department worked hard to update this new and improved all-time favorite.
